Occupied by the Moore family in the 17th century, the Hall later became a Coaching House and Inn, and in the 19th century, Llewellyn Jewitt, a local antiquary, occupied the Hall and his gravestone can be found in the local church cemetery. Set over three floors, the Hall stands back from the main street behind the original stone-built gateway.
