Whether you are travelling from Manchester, Huddersfield or Leeds, or want to visit one of these places for the day, Holmfirth is a great holiday spot. Within the town, guests will find the excellent Picturedrome, Compo's House, and several festivals are held here throughout the year. With the Peak District so close by there will be no shortage of great places to walk and cycle. Those looking for a challenge might want to bring their bikes and take on the Holme Moss. There's no shortage of delicious eateries here either.
