Outside, to the front of the cottage is a patio with furniture, making this a great spot to take in the sights and sounds of the farm, as well as the views of the countryside beyond. After a day exploring the local area and a hearty evening meal in your splendid cottage, why not take a stroll in the pretty gardens and observe the rare-breed hens roaming around? The Peak Wildlife Park is just down the road and with its large walkthroughs, allowing you to come face-to-face with exotic animals, it makes for a great day out. For any keen horse riders there’s Beaver Hall Equestrian Centre close by and for those who enjoy walking, there are endless stunning trails, including Dovedale, with its rocky slopes and woodland. For the thrill-seekers in your party, Alton Towers is just a short drive away, as are the delightful market towns of Leek and Ashbourne, offering a tempting array of antique shops, real ale pubs and restaurants. The small and pretty rural hamlet of Bradnop is situated on the western edge of the Peak District National Park close to Leek, with its antiques shops, and within easy driving distance of the market towns of Buxton and Ashbourne. Nearby is superb walking with Dovedale, the beautiful Manifold Valley, and the popular Manifold Cycle Track all within easy reach. There are lots of pretty villages to explore close by, many with good pubs. Alton Towers is less than 15 minutes' drive away.
