    West Wittering beach hosts a popular windsurfing and kitesurfing club, as well as a cafe for some tasty treats to keep you going. For a wonderful picnic, take yourself over to the well kept grassland closeby. The area itself is well known for its extensive wildlife,such as the birds that can be seen here. The city of Chichester is nearby, and here you are able to get some food at the local restaurants and pubs, or even see a performance at Chichester Festival Theatre.

      Do you inspect properties before you take them on?

      There were no wardrobes at all in the bedrooms, just a small cupboard on the landing. There was no information at the property at all, on appliances TV's, places of intetest or places to eat. The lounge was obviosly a converted garage and it was not comfotable. The TV there had limited viewing options, no DVD. Dining room TV marginlly better so ended up on very uncomfortable dining able chairs in the evening, hardly relaxing. We cut our holiday short and came home. It was very basic and dissapointing. Certainly not worth the cost. We have used Sykes Cottages ever year for quite a while now but If this is the standard that Sykes is now setting, then we would think very seriously about booking with you again.

      Coastal cottage was super clean and tidy, everything was available for cooking and cleaning.

      Coastal cottage was advertised as having wifi and an enclosed seating area outside. There was no wifi and no gate on the area outside for dogs not to escape. Overall it was outstanding and would definitely stay again
