Guests say

The Wagon Linney in Cornwall receives high praise for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and beautiful surroundings. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, ample outdoor space, and the property's suitability for large groups and families. The location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to beaches, although some guests note the uphill return from the beach. While most feedback is positive, a few guests mention issues with water pressure and temperature, and suggest minor improvements.

Guests consistently report that The Wagon Linney is very clean upon arrival, with several reviews highlighting the immaculate condition of the property. The presence of flies due to nearby farm animals is mentioned, but does not seem to significantly detract from the overall cleanliness experience.

The property's location is generally well-regarded for its peacefulness, proximity to beaches, and beautiful countryside. However, some guests note the challenge of uphill walks from the beach and the presence of farm animals nearby, which affects the outdoor experience for some.

The accommodation is praised for its spaciousness and warm atmosphere, suitable for large groups and families. However, some guests mention uncomfortable beds and issues with heating regulation, which suggests room for improvement in the comfort category.

Facilities are generally seen as good, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample space for parking. However, several reviews cite issues with water pressure and temperature, and some minor maintenance concerns such as a non-flushing toilet and a noisy water system, leading to a slightly lower score.

While guests express satisfaction with the property and its amenities, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for this category.

It was my 70th birthday - so a good excuse for a party. The dining area in the kitchen was ideal and we all got seated at the table for brunch. The oil fired boiler gives off a distinctive aroma which reminded us of my Mums old house in Bovey. The bedrooms were good and comfortable. It was particularly useful having one downstairs bedroom as my wife and I have some mobility problems now. My dog and one of my son’s dog had a great weekend together. My son’s families enjoyed being able to go surfing as well. All in all a lovely weekend.

The owner was very helpful with sorting our little problems that occurred. The gardens and play area was well maintained as a three generation family it suited us perfectly with room for everyone. Thank you very much.

The kitchen was the best equipped for a large party that we have encountered with plenty of large pans. The sitting area was comfortable and spacious. Some of us found the beds more comfortable than others, but that is mainly personal choice. The only reason for not awarding full marks all round is that, as previous reviewers have noted, the water pressure in the upper bath and shower rooms was variable and sometimes absent.
