About this property
This spacious lodge is situated in a countryside setting, on the Stonerush Lakes resort, two miles from Lanreath. Ideal for a couple or family, this lodge is the perfect base for your Cornwall adventure with plenty to see and do in the area. Once inside this superb lodge you will find an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, all of which are well-equipped and have everything that you will need during your stay. From the living area there's access to a terrace and so you can bring the outside in. Also inside this wonderful lodge are two bedrooms, with the king-size double benefiting from an en-suite shower room. The other bedroom is a twin and there's a shared bathroom too. On a sunny day there's no better way to relax than to sit in the hot tub and unwind on your Cornish holiday. Afterwards you can enjoy a drink or meal and reminisce about your day out and about. Covering 28 acres of countryside, Stonerush Lakes has a pub/restaurant on-site, as well as plenty of walking routes. Close by is the village of Lanreath which has a shop, Post Office, pub and church, and further afield there are a range of amenities including the seaside resorts of Looe and Polperro. All in all, this is a perfect lodge in a delightful area.
Lanreath is a village in South East Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop and Post Office as well as a parish church. There are a number of ghost stories associated with Lanreath. The best-known features a ghost in black driving a coach pulled by a headless horse. The sandy Looe Beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand.

Plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 children and a dog! Our favourite part was how private it was, you feel like youâre in your own little world in the trees and being able to sit on the decking with a book, listening to the stream was such a treat.

Quickly recieved all the information we needed including the menus for the on site restaurant should we wish to book. Upon arrival the site exceeded our expectations. Beautifully maintained grounds and lodges in a valley with a restaurant and bar overlooking one of the lakes. As a family we have travelled the length and breadth of the U.K. and this has to be up there with the best places we have stayed. We holidayed in Streamside 6 with the wrap around decking and hot tub and enjoyed every minute of the peace and quiet and the Privacy. We enjoyed it so much and being only 40 minutes from home have booked again. Special thanks to Amanda and Sally and the team for making it such a great holiday.

Went away for the weekend with the mrs and dog both absolutely loved it so did I myself, theyâre were a lot of dog trails/bridways you could walk through with amazing scenery of a valley and wild animals,the hot tub was warm on arrival and stayed so right through out the weekend the jets only half worked on first day however once asking the cleaner of the tub following morning they were sorted(friendly staff), so spacious inside the design is lovely too,the stream right below our back balcony in the evenings when it was quiet was so relaxing to listen too at night with a beautiful of the stars aswell, couldnât recommend this anymore for anyone looking to do the same :)) Ryan
