About this property
Presumably Onshore 7 offers one of the best aerial view - the view eye catching the fairy tale Crescent house on top of the Jogo Island and extending across Lusty Glaze and far reaching up to Watergate. The harbour on the left side topped by Headland Hotel (the shooting place of "The Witches") and endless ocean can all be seen and experienced directly from the living room or dining table. We have chosen the form and colours of the furniture and table and positioned the Chaise Lounge to give best & relaxing view of the sea front from various angles. The furniture have also been chosen with great love for details and aligned with each other to make you feel at home right from the Moment you enter the apartment. Towan Beach considered as one of the finest of the Newquay beaches is directly in front of the Onshore 7 apartment. Since the road to the Crescent is not open for general public, the apartment is protected from traffic. In the North Cornwall, the tidal ranges are quite impressive with the Severn Estuary recording some of the largest difference between high and low tide (up to 15 metres / 49 feet). On high tide, the waves can burst onto the road just in front of the flat and on low tidal periods, it is possible to walk across the Towan beach behind the Crescent and Jago Island to Great Western. On New Year's Eve as part of Newquay tradition both residents and visitors wear fancy dress and costumes meeting at Central Square just above the Crescent. New Year is inaugurated by fireworks at Newquay Harbour

The interior , for an Architect/Designer couple, was a minimalists dream with good facilities and I suspect when first completed was perfect. However, the interior suffers from a lack of maintenance with chipped crockery and odd quantities of some; 13 wine glasses, 3 water glasses and 3 mugs. Best for saving water would be to have plenty of daily used item which could then be loaded into dishwasher and washed when full. Also some furniture fixing coming away from the wall and no door stops on wardrobes.

Ideally located with its stunning view of beach, and easy walking distance to Newquay centre. Appartment was equiped with everything we needed and very comfy after days out. Lift is really useful for those of us getting on in years. The only problem we had was getting to the property on the first occassion. The final part of the directions which we found in the folder at the appartment were missing from the directions on our booking. Had it said "follow the sign for The Crescent Hotels and the car park entrance is directly oppersite the Karma Surf shop" it would have made it a little easier. But it is definatley a place we would stay at again.

Breath taking view to wake up to. spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable. Welcome pack a really nice touch. loved it so much we booked again for next year even before we came home.
