The village of Polgooth, with its past deeply steeped in tin mine, is today a peaceful community on the outskirts of St. Austell that is frequented by tourists who are enjoying the region's breath-taking landscape. The community is about three miles from the ocean and is near to several beautiful beaches. The south-west coastal route also passes through the area. There are many tourist attractions in the vicinity, including the Tall Ships Harbour at Charlestown, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the Eden Project, all of which are accessible by car in under 15 minutes. Only 5 miles separate the picturesque Roseland Peninsula with the villages of St. Mawes and St. Just-in-Roseland from the charming fishing harbour at Mevagissey, which has a passenger ferry across the bay to Fowey. This was the first holiday my husband and I have had since my son died 3 years ago , we wanted somewhere quiet and dog friendly This was perfect, we were made to fill welcome from start to end , food was amazing, we will definitely be booking again Keep up the good work guys Love Chris and Caroline Harvey

The heating is difficult to work out and would be lovely to have dustpan and brush to clean up with as like to leave it as we found it
