It is well placed for getting out and about in the area and offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, steam room and spa.

Open the front door to the Scandinavian-style, timber-clad lodge and wander inside to make yourselves at home within its reverse-level layout. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all downstairs and the open-plan living space is on the first floor. Choose between the double bedroom, and the super-king-size which can also be set up as a twin by prior arrangement. The family bathroom and an en-suite bathroom are also at ground-floor level. Climb the stairs to unpack your provisions in the kitchen, which has granite work surfaces. Prepare the next meal for your party; dine together at the table then settle down to watch TV or open the doors onto the balcony so you can unwind out in the fresh air. Treat yourselves to an evening stroll through the hotel’s leafy estate. On summer evenings head over to the shared patio to BBQ dinner out in the fresh air.
