This cosy cottage is a great base for families to explore St Ives and the surrounding area from. Situated in the centre of town, the cottage is close to the shops, pubs and restaurants and only a five minute walk to the harbour and beaches. There is a lounge/diner and well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor and the three bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first and second floors. Outside there is a small patio area with seating and a parking space for one car.

    This is a homely small house which we enjoyed staying in. It felt much more personal and comfy than many we have stayed in. For two of us in our 60s there was plenty of room and I'd recommend for a couple. It's in a perfect location, a very short walk up the hill and has a parking space. Kitchen is perfectly adequate and well stocked. There is only one bathroom which includes the only toilet and I think it might be a challenge to have 6 people. The attic room is really only usable for the agile. The house might suit a family with teenagers who are fine about mucking in. The one issue that was a problem was that only one of the sofas can be comfortably sat on...the other seems faulty . Again this doesn't impact if only a couple. I have noticed since St Ives got taken over by Original Holidays that previous noce touches such as some tea milk etc on arrival have disappeared....and also one used to get a welcome info set with money off vouchers etc . Seems much less personal service now.

    Wasn't sure whether we would be able to get our T4 Transporter into the space, but it went in with only a little manoeuvring. Lovely cottage and a great location. Loved the view from the top floor bedroom too.
