Boasting breathtaking 180-degree panorama of St Ives Bay, this spacious luxury penthouse sleeps eight in four comfortable rooms. Located at Gwel Marten apartments it’s just a short walk to the beach, SW coastal path and scenic rail link to St Ives, a superb base for your family beach getaway. Its spacious living area with a balcony running the full width, is bright and airy with views which need to be seen to believed. Sink into either of the sofas and be mesmerised by the Cornish vista, if you're lucky you spot dolphins playing in the surf below. After watching the sunset over St Ives enjoy some family fun with the entertainment provided including a smart TV with BT Sport and complimentary Netflix. The dining area seamlessly flows from the lounge and enjoys the same panoramic views. A table and chairs for eight allow you to dine in comfort with a stunning ocean backdrop. The kitchen is part of the open plan setting so the chef can enjoy the same stunning views and socialise with guests too. Beautifully fitted ivory units this well-appointed kitchen has everything you need. Blue Vista is ideal for two families or large groups with two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. The master en-suite bedroom has a luxuriously dressed king size bed. The second is a twin with double aspect windows making it bright. The third room also has a king size bed. Finally, the fourth is a twin and conveniently found next to the family bathroom. Blue Vista enjoys two private outside spaces a sea facing balcony and a south facing terrace. Dine alfresco listening to the sound of the surf on the fabulous 40” wide sea facing balcony. It covers the whole frontage of the living area and kitchen and has one of the best views of the bay. Two rattan tables and eight matching chairs are provided. The south facing sun terrace is located to the rear of the property and is a fantastic little sun trap. Guests are welcome to use the beautiful communal gardens, enjoy strolling through them to access to the SW Coast Path and the beach. If you enjoy walking the dramatic coastal walk is 20 mins to St Ives or try the headland to Porthkidney Sands. The seaside village of Carbis Bay is renowned for its magnificent stretch of pure white sand, which is only a short drive from iconic St Ives. The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach to rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and get out on the ocean. Alternatively, why not book a Spa day at the charming hotel? Carbis Bay features local businesses and restaurants, as well as a fish and chip shop and a railway branch line taking guests to the likes of St Ives.

The weather was great, apartment well equipped, lovely view. Access is easy for St Ives to walk or go on the train. We'll definitely be back again.

Ample space, feels very cosy to stay in. Really comfortable and soft beds and very well equipped kitchen. Love how it is within walking distance of so many things! The train station is really convenient as it is so close. It was nice to see the games provided in the cabinet catered for all age groups.
