It feels like home from home when we step through the door. The view never fails to impress! Also big thumbs-up to housekeeping this year.

The view was spectacular ! It was spotless and lovely bedding and towels we loved the goodies bag that was there and the fresh flowers which were welcoming . Although the the flat was all on one level , there were steep steps down to the flat which some people may find difficult .

Everything I needed was here including welcome biscuits and milk. The views are spectacular- the best I’ve had in a property and you can see and hear the sea and the beach from the balcony. It’s a very special place. The kitchen was lovely especially the granite worktops and was well equipped with a decent size fridge freezer, oven, microwave etc. The supermarket is a few mins walk or there is a pub nearby if you prefer to eat out, but book for Sunday roasts. The bus goes regularly from the main road into St Ives, Penzance or further afield and the open top bus towards Lands End stops here before St Ives so you can get on ahead of the queue in the town. You can also walk into St Ives. It’s not a complaint but if you are new to this part of Cornwall it’s worth being aware that due to the geography of the area there are some very steep and narrow paths and side roads. The property has handrails and a path with several external steps but I found a folding stick or walking poles helped me to make the most of my surroundings especially when the ground was wet. It didn’t detract from my holiday and I had an excellent time but I had to take care in places as I’m not very sure footed. I used public transport which was excellent so I can’t comment on parking.
