Talland View in St. Ives offers a scenic location with comfortable accommodations and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the proximity to the town centre and beaches, as well as the lovely views. Some guests encountered maintenance issues, but the quick response to resolve problems was noted. The property's cleanliness generally meets expectations, though minor issues were reported.
The property is mostly clean, but there were instances of smear marks on doors and windows, and a wet towel was found. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a trend.
The property is well-liked for its central location close to the town centre and beaches, with great views. However, the steep hill may be a challenge for those with mobility issues.
Guests find the property comfortable and the beds satisfactory. Some guests mentioned issues with bed stability, but overall the accommodation is considered comfortable.
While the kitchen is well-equipped, there are several maintenance issues reported such as blocked showers and sinks, broken blinds, and a loose kitchen plinth. These issues suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owner, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Lots of kitchen utensils etc so great for cooking meals. Showers really good too. Just one small thing was that one of the towels was wet and appeared to have been used but was rolled up. We didnât need it so not a problem for us but thought Iâd mention it.

We had a couple of issues when we arrived with a blocked sink and shower but they were quickly dealt with. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay - thank you.

Kitchen plinth vent displaced, sink in main bathroom took ages to empty, few chipped plates. Fire door into hall didnât close due to hinges loose. Just a few silly issues in a nice place, oh and please donât bother with the scones and jam, the milk was handy though, thanks. Grant and Maureen
