About this property

Caerhayes is a spacious, self- catering holiday bungalow situated in a quiet residential area in Rock. The rear lawned garden is enclosed with an attractive decked and separate patio area. There is ample off road parking, with a further lawned area to the front. Caerhayes can accommodate six guests in four bedrooms with two bathrooms, making this a good size holiday let for an extended family. The bungalow has 1 king size bedroom with en-suite, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a further bedroom with bunk beds. The homely kitchen benefits from lots of light and has a door to the rear garden, ideal for taking a picnic outside on sunny days. Trelyn is tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of the Rock road but the many local shops and the Rock Bakery are a gentle amble away. The footpath down to St Michaels church and Porthilly cove should take no more than 10 minutes and the waters are usually calm and shallow. Shell seekers could spot cockles on a low tide and bird watchers should follow the river up towards Gentle Jane to spot a variety of seabirds.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
