The cottage was warm and cosy. The only issue for me was the lack of light near the oven. It was so hard to see what I was cooking. I needed a torch, which was hard to hold while stirring the pan. It was a lovely cottage within walking distance of the Seven Stars Pub where we could get a meal and plenty of dog walking routes.

Great location for countryside walks and the coast, set in a friendly community and it wasnât too far to walk to the pub for a meal. Overall the property is well equipped,, comfortable and had every thing we needed to make meals and all supermarkets deliver to this area .As previous reviews have said parking is tight and if you do need to take the dog out for their âbusinessâ there is a country lane a few meters away. Stopping for two weeks so we missed having a washing machine but this is a fabulous property for a short let. The owners left us a bottle of wine and cream tea that was most welcome, everything was clean when we arrived and there were cleaning products to hand and it was nice to have foil cling film etc available. We would definitely recommend.

Bed was the most comfortable we have slept in when using holiday cottages. Although we didn't bring our dog in the end the house was well equipped for a dog. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure the kitchen supplies are well stocked. We didn't need to buy the fiddly things such as foil, salt, pepper, oil etc. They even gave us a lovely bottle of wine with scones and jam. The only down side of the location is that traffic can be loud as it's a through road but even still we would stay there again.
