About this property

Nestled on Vose Farm, within the northern fringes of the Roseland Peninsula, is Ash Cottage. Set in the midst of beautiful Cornish countryside, yet less than three miles to the beach, this cottage offers a cosy feel, inviting family and friends to share a well-earned holiday! Its rural location is most appealing, and though the farm is no longer working, you are welcome to explore its grounds and meet chickens, ducks and sheep. There are also woodland walks you can stroll and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the picnic area. The first floor living room is elevated by ceiling beams and makes the most of panoramic views over the donkey paddock towards the Roseland Peninsula. The kitchen is well-appointed with sleek worktops and wooden units, a sociable dining space and two plush sofas enjoying the natural light. Downstairs the master bedroom enjoys en-suite facilities, whilst the ground floor and first floor twin bedroom share a large family bathroom. The south-facing garden allows you to bask in the summer sunshine and take in the beautiful scenery. Dine alfresco with the barbecue and when the day turns to night, enjoy a star filled sky surrounded by your loved ones. The wildlife pond is well stocked for fishing and there is a safe children's play area and seven acres of landscaped gardens to explore. The village of Tregony is in the ideal position for the famous Eden Project, the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, all worth a visit! You have fabulous, sandy beaches nearby and the outstandingly beautiful coastal path running through some of the UK's most superb scenery. A charming base to choose for a stay to remember.

The world famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, Charlestown historic maritime village and the Cathedral city of Truro are all within 10 miles of this historic village. Ash Cottage is a lovely, spacious place to stay with amazing views and there were great facilities on site for our young family, such as the playground and the pond. The sheep, in particular, were a real hit! We hope to return again in the future!

The cottage was spotless with everything you could need. We were greeted by Phil on arrival. There are plenty of beaches close by and easy access to the larger resorts. We throughly enjoy our time at Ash cottage and would definitely recommend to friends.
