The property's location offers a perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas, despite some minor feedback on the need for property guides and appliance instructions.
Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. The property is noted for being tidy upon arrival, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay.
The location is highly praised for its spectacular views and tranquillity, with easy access to Truro and other attractions in Cornwall. The serene setting by the creek is a recurring highlight, although the steep drive is noted as challenging for some.

Facilities are generally very well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped for guests' needs. However, there are several mentions of missing information on how to operate appliances and a recurring mention of the absence of a tin opener, indicating room for improvement in this area.
The owner's thoughtfulness is appreciated, with mentions of welcome scones, clotted cream, jam, and other provisions. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, although delightful, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Located on a hill it does have a steep driveway but it overlooks the tidal creek in a quiet and very picturesque area. There is easy access to Truro, Falmouth and beyond.

The house was easy to find and it does have a very steep, narrow drive - but this caused us no problem for our one large vehicle. The house was in a lovely position and was very clean and the beds were super comfy!. The dining chairs had slippery covers over them which were annoying to sit on and the chairs beneath were in a bit of a worn condition. It would be nice to have sofas uncovered and not covered in throws. Maybe thatâs my personal view ? Everything you could want was provided. We met the owner once and she was very nice and helpful.

The home has a double bedroom and bathroom downstairs with little balcony. There are 2 further double bedrooms on the main level (one of which can be made up as a twin), along with a shower room and kitchen. The fittings and furnishings are of a very high standard and the home is very well equipped. Anna the owner is friendly and available if you have any queries. She provides lovely extra touches in toiletries, washing products and ensures milk and tea and coffee are there for your arrival. Rathillet is in a great spot for exploring. Truro is nearby with all its amenities as is Falmouth. You can easily visit the Roseland, as well as the Lizard and St Michael's Mount and other areas. The drive down is steep and took a bit of getting used to with a larger vehicle. However it wouldnt stop me coming again. We had a great week and hope to return. Would thoroughly recommend this property.
