Upon arrival, we were immediately confronted with several severe issues, including: ⢠One bathroom was filled with mould, had a broken sink, and was infested with silverfish, making it unusable. ⢠The entire cottage, particularly the bedrooms, smelled strongly of mould and dampness. ⢠On the first day, there was no heating, and one member of our group fell sick due to the cold conditions. ⢠It took us a full day to get in touch with the property owner regarding these issues. ⢠The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes upon our arrival, which is completely unacceptable. ⢠The cottage was infested with spiders, contributing to an unhygienic and uncomfortable environment. ⢠The ground floor tiling was dangerously loose, especially by the shower, creating a serious safety hazard. ⢠The radiator covers were broken, further adding to the unsafe conditions. ⢠Basic amenities such as handwash and shower gels were not provided, which are expected as a minimum standard. These issues made the cottage uninhabitable and certainly not the relaxing and enjoyable retreat we had hoped for. The significant delays in resolving the heating issue and the overall poor condition of the property caused immense stress and discomfort, effectively ruining our holiday.

Great attention to detail and beautiful aesthetics. One of the best places we have stayed by far. Thank you!

The cottage itself is lovely and rustic but with all the amenities one could ask for. The hosts even left us scones, jam and clotted cream when we arrived which was a really nice welcoming touch. The beds are all very comfortable and we slept very well thanks to the lovely quiet position of the cottage. The garden is fully enclosed and safe for kids and dogs. The local area is great and very close to Truro for all shopping needs whilst only 20 minutes or so from many good beaches. We wholeheartedly recommend Rosewood for a family holiday.
