Guests appreciate the cottage's spaciousness, quick resolution of issues, and its proximity to Charmouth beach and local amenities. The property is generally clean, well-equipped, and offers a comfortable stay with ample parking. Some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness oversights were noted, but the overall experience is positive, with the property being well-received for its location and charm.
The property is mostly clean, but there have been instances of hair in the bathroom, food and dirt on the living room floor, and a stained bedsheet. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, as other reviews praise the cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for being quiet, close to Charmouth beach, shops, and local amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring the coast and countryside.
The property is generally found to be comfortable with a powerful shower and comfortable beds. However, there are comments about an old settee and a bed with broken slats, suggesting room for improvement in the comfort of the furnishings.
Facilities are adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and ample parking. However, maintenance issues like a non-working toaster, external light, and heating system, as well as a shower head that doesn't stay in place, have been reported.
Guests have mentioned welcome goodies, which indicates thoughtfulness. However, the lack of washing up liquid and the need for a recycling guide suggest that while there is a degree of thoughtfulness, it could be enhanced for future guests.

The house had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. The only issue we had was that the boiler was not working when we arrived, so no heating or hot water. After a call to office this was fixed within a matter of hours and we came back from having dinner at a local pub to a lovely warm house.

5 mins to Charmouth beach and 10 to the shops/cafes. Loved the views from the main bedroom towards Lyme Bay and Stonebarrow Hill.

The front external light is not working. The rear steps to the rear patio were 50% obscured by vegetation including the hand rail. I cut it back enough to make safe. The weekend of arrival the weather was unusually cold and could not turn the heating on, including the boost function. I phoned and reported it but nobody arrived from the maintenance team. Fortunately as the week moved on the weather improved.
