Most guests found the property spotless and welcoming. However, there were a couple of reports of cleanliness issues, including dirty interiors and presence of hair, which suggests room for improvement.
The property is appreciated for its proximity to Lyme Regis and the coastline, with the bonus of off-road parking. The steep climb back from town is noted, and a car is recommended for those with mobility issues.
Guests consistently praise the property for its comfortable beds, quality furniture, and bedding. The garden and outdoor seating are also highlighted as positives for relaxation.
The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and guests are happy with the additional amenities like beach chairs. However, there are suggestions for improvements such as installing a thermostatic valve in the shower and updating kitchenware.
The welcome pack with local goodies was well-received, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The en-suite SHOWER had black mould on the grouting; BATH screen was filthy. Hair on floors. Plastic anti-slip mats were disgusting. BEDS had hairs. KITCHEN, although well equipped, the pans are all past their best and not safe for use. SOFAS smelt and were dirty - could do with a good clean. DVD player did not work. Reported to office. The distance of the CAR PARKING to the Property should be stated on the advertisement. We enjoyed our holiday in Lyme Regis but feel badly let down by Sykes; the cost of the rental did not match the condition of the property. I shall be sharing my concerns with Head Office. The one in the folder is for 2023! This being the only criticism shows how happy we were with the property.
