Blue Neptune is a well-loved cottage praised for its unique design, beautiful decoration, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, and the property's modern facilities. While some mention road noise and a challenging hill, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the exceptional cleanliness of the property, mentioning it is 'exceptionally clean' with 'fresh lemon scent' bed linen, contributing to a high score in this category.
The location receives mixed reviews due to its proximity to a main road and commercial properties, causing some noise concerns. However, its walking distance to the town centre and beach is appreciated, leading to a good but not excellent score.
Comfort is highly rated, with guests praising the 'very comfy beds' and 'beautifully furnished' rooms. Some concerns about pillow comfort and privacy on the upper deck slightly affect the score.
The property is lauded for its well-equipped kitchen, high-quality showers, and outdoor facilities. The mention of an electric car point is a modern amenity that guests appreciate. Waste collection confusion slightly impacts the score.
Thoughtfulness is evident through mentions of welcome packs and attention to detail. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this is reflected in the score.

Very well equipped and a lovely welcome goody bag! Excellent attention to detail in all respects. We all loved the garden and the grandchildren particularly enjoyed the nautical theme, as they were pirates! Thank you!

The property is easily accessible as it is on the main road to Uplyme There are two car park spaces and charging facility The property it self features an upstairs lounge area and massive kitchen adjoining. With in the kitchen area there is a large dining table and sofa as well as a well equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and of that a utility space with washer etc The three bedrooms are all well equipped with high quality showers in all of the 3 bedrooms This property was really lovely both because of the modern and light living space and cleanliness. Off the lounge area a raised patio gives you a pleasant place after a busy day. We would recommend the property and look forward to returning again One thing to consider is that care would be required if young kids are part of your group as the garden is steep and can accessed from the upper patio

We had a lovely stay and the weather was great as a bonus. Near to Lyme Regis within walking distance but a public bus available. Feedback, size of the towels, I would have bought my own if I had known they were small - I think bath sheet size would be good. Secondly, the balcony got a lot of sunshine in the morning, sometimes unable to sit there as too hot. The table does have a hole for a parasol so would not take much to provide one for guests.
