Guests say

The Lodge in Lyme Regis is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and prime location close to the town centre and beach. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, ample parking, and the thoughtful welcome pack. While some minor maintenance issues and noise concerns are mentioned, the property's charm and convenience for families and groups are consistently highlighted.

Most guests find The Lodge to be very clean, with spotless conditions and high-quality welcome packages. However, a few guests noted areas that could be improved, such as dust and grubby handrails, which slightly affects the score.

The property's location is highly praised for its convenience to the town and beach, making it a relaxing choice for visitors. The ease of access and the views are particularly appreciated.

The Lodge is generally found to be comfortable and well-suited for various family sizes. Some guests mention issues with heating in one room and the suitability for those with limited mobility, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a fully equipped kitchen and games for children. Maintenance issues like heating problems, dampness, and minor damages are noted, indicating room for improvement.

Guests frequently mention the generous welcome pack, which adds a thoughtful touch to their stay. It is important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every visit.

Perfect for six adults, baby and dogs! Brilliant location, great parking (a rarity in town centre and as we stayed in Lyme, we didn’t have to move the cars at all), beautifully maintained and equipped, lots of nooks and crannies to escape to if needed! Bedrooms lovely and beds comfortable. Lounge and kitchen/diner great places to congregate. En-suites great, shower arrangement in small bathroom could be enhanced, maybe a screen to prevent it turning into a wet room?! But no real complaints, an excellent property - we loved it.

Clean and well equipped, and one of the best “Welcome Packs” we’ve seen since before Covid. The only slight negative (and it is a very minor niggle) is that the WiFi signal around the property could be better - perhaps some repeaters upstairs and in the front living room to overcome the thick brick walls?

This was regardless of age (age of those in holiday range from 20’s through to 80’s - 3 generations). Another tv would help perhaps in kitchen.
