A first floor self-contained eaves apartment, above the owner's property, in the small village of Over Compton, just 3 miles from both Yeovil and Sherborne on the border of Dorset and Somerset. However, the dog (which I accept was listed) was very loud and difficult to silence and would be barking at difficult times of the day. We weren't aware that there were works happening on the property prior to our stay, so we were very concerned when there was a man on the roof mid-evening (after 9pm) dragging cables which was also very loud. We did not have a key for the balcony door which meant there was external access we didn't have control over. All of these would have been fine if we were aware prior to booking.

Outside decking with overgrowing brambles/plants. Otherwise clean and has what you need for a short stay. Owners like their TV quite loud at night and can be heard in bedrooms clearly.
