No wonder you donât put pictures of the outside on the web. Inside, it had the slightly damp, fusty smell I remember from student flats. All the fixtures and fittings feel like they have been done on the super cheap. For example the mattress was so awful it gave both of us backache and the TV isnât actually connected to an aerial, making just catching the news headlines hard work. As for tranquil. Every night we were treated to drunks shouting and swearing on the pavement inches from the lounge window. We also got lots of noise from surrounding flats and people going up and down the stairs to the flat above. We hated it so much we went home early for some creature comforts and a decent nightâs sleep. P.S. The nearest parking is very expensive and the more affordable parking is a good walk away (again, not quite as advertised)

Layout of apartment wasn't ideal, with bathroom at far end off kitchen and lounge next to living room. The stairs to upper apartments made it noisy as the stairs are directly above ground floor apartment. The location was ideal, very close to the front. WiFi was awful, which made relaxing to watch TV in evening not possible some evenings. The TV programme wouldn't work, no access to terrestrial TV stations either. We really appreciated the welcome hamper and agree with other guests that it was one the best we've had, thank you. Maintenance is needed on the kitchen patio doors as only one side of the double doors locks and the kitchen window was permanently open on the security lock. It couldn't be closed. It was nice to have a small patio area but it wasn't a nice environment to relax in, quite dirty and in need of sprucing up.
