The dog treats and chocolates on arrival were a very nice surprise. I can honestly say that this is a truly exceptional holiday cottage and certainly the best cottage we have stayed in over the many years exploring the UK. It was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed for a home away from home. Being located next to the Forest of Dean, makes it the perfect base for exploring the forest, with multiple walking options only a short drive away. The secure pet friendly garden, means that your dog is free to safely explore. Whilst we didn't have the best weather during the week we stayed, the quality of the accommodation more than made up for it. It is a cottage and location that we will definitely be returning to.

Situated within a short distance to shops and eating places with only a short drive to the wonderful forest.

Tracey was a great host always on hand if anything needed. Also great recommendations for eating - The Miners at Sling (especially on a Monday!), Speech House and Moody Cow at Upton Bishop. Frydays in Littledean - great chippy! No hesitation in recommending this property
