The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery, crockery etc. Loved the Neff up & over oven. The circuit breaker tripped a few times when the dishwasher was used. The house is in a great position to walk to town & to the Tor. There's some road noise, but that's not an issue. The towels were lovely & thick & white. & the sheets were nice & crisp. Very good.

It is lovingly furnished and the garden invites you to linger. It was a pity that the rooms and especially the dishes were not really clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, the windows were dirty and we had to wash all the dishes again before we could use them. A small note: the fuse kept blowing as soon as the light was on in the room on the first floor and several rooms on the second floor had their lights switched on. Basically, the Tree of Life House is a beautiful vacation home that impresses with its proximity and location to the city center and also to the Chalice Well Garden, the White Spring and the Tor. We felt very comfortable and could overlook the small blemishes. Our little highlight was the elf house.

Centrally located in Glastonbury and within 5mins walk of the main town. 10mins drive to the Clarks Designer outlet, 20mins drive to Wells, 40mins to Longleat etc. Fantastic base for getting out and about, as everything is relatively close by. The house itself looks a lot better in the pictures, as some of it needs tlc. Overall a nice place to stay, but could do with some maintenance.
