Guests appreciate the cottage's excellent location and the welcoming touches such as wine and biscuits. While the property boasts fantastic views and potential, it requires maintenance and a deep clean. The comfort level is affected by dated and worn furnishings, and some guests have reported issues with heating and dampness.
Several reviews mention the need for a deep clean, with reports of dirty marks on carpets and furniture, and a grubby conservatory. The presence of dampness and a smell also indicate cleanliness issues.
The location is consistently praised for its excellent views and the ability to enjoy lovely walks directly from the property, contributing to a positive experience.
Comfort is compromised by reports of uncomfortable beds and noisy heating. However, some guests found the cottage cosy and welcoming upon arrival.
Facilities are described as generous, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as broken cupboard doors, a non-functional shower, and heating problems.
Guests were delighted by the welcoming touches such as wine, tea, coffee, and biscuits. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed with every stay.

We loved it. Very very generous level of facilities and amenities right down to the tea spoons. Will be back for sure.

The cottage itself is in desperate need of some maintenance. The property has great potential.

The cottage itself is in desperate need of some maintenance, a deep clean and a new bed in the master bedroom, has to be the worst we have ever slept in. The property has great potential.
