Crabapple Cottage in Southwold receives high praise for its comfort, cleanliness, and prime location near the beach and town centre. Guests appreciate the well-equipped and beautifully decorated property, noting the convenience of ensuite bathrooms and a well-thought-out space. While some minor maintenance issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests returning and planning future stays.
The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with one review specifically noting it was 'spotlessly clean'. There was a single mention of a stained mattress, but this seems an isolated concern.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the pier, sea, and high street, with guests appreciating the ability to walk everywhere needed.
Guests find the cottage relaxing and comfortable, with super comfy beds and a well-thought-out space. There is a single suggestion for a larger TV, but overall, comfort levels are rated very high.
The cottage is well-equipped, though some minor maintenance issues like an oven bulb and a cabinet handle were reported. One guest had trouble with the TV and heating instructions, but these seem to be exceptions in the otherwise positive feedback.
While the reviews indicate that the owners have been considerate in equipping the property, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Clean and modern. Perfect size for us. Well equipped with lots of cooking utensils. We would have appreciated a coffee cafetière. Perhaps there could be one for next year (weâve already booked 2025 stay). It really is a super house. We all enjoyed our stay..

It had everything we needed, and was spotlessly clean. It was so lovely to have three ensuite bathrooms as well.
