The Dunes in Southwold receives high praise for its beautiful decoration, cleanliness, and prime location near the beach. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the property's suitability for both small and large groups, including pets. While some find certain bedrooms small and the exterior less impressive, the overall experience is one of a homely, well-maintained holiday home perfect for seaside relaxation.
Guests consistently note the property is extremely clean and well maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the house.
The location is frequently highlighted as fantastic, with direct access to the dunes and beach, and proximity to Southwold and Walberswick, making it ideal for guests.
The property is generally found to be comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. However, some guests mention that a couple of the bedrooms are too small for comfort and that one room can become overly warm.
Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and games available. Suggestions for improvement include better garden furniture and a sports subscription for the TV. Parking issues are mentioned as a minor concern.
While the reviews reflect a thoughtful arrangement of the property, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness in terms of extra amenities or welcome presents.

Itâs like walking in to an exciting warm hug, with the added extra of a wonderful view and direct access to the dunes and beach. It is as comfortable for just two people, as it is when we had all 7 of our extended family there. The enclosed and safe garden is a massive bonus for both dogs and children. Beautifully equipped, everything works and has been planned with ease of use and fun in mind. Thank you for allowing us to share such a perfect place,
Keith
At this price point rattan style garden chairs are not acceptable as lounge furniture. Also sky sports subscription would be an excellent addition to the property. Other than that no complaints at all.

It was clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated and the location was perfect for strolling to Southwold or down the harbour to get fish and chips or the little ferry across to Walberswick. It was home from home and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend booking The Dunes and we will be returning in the future!
