Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, charming decor, and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. The cottage receives consistent commendation for its spotless condition and cleanliness. Guests frequently mention how clean and well-kept the property is, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The location is celebrated for its tranquillity and proximity to attractions like Alton Towers and the Peak District. While it is described as peaceful and private, some guests noted it is easy to find and close to necessary amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the living spaces cosy. The property is described as spacious with a homely feel. However, there are a few mentions of low ceilings in attic bedrooms being a challenge during hot weather.

The hosts are frequently praised for their thoughtfulness, particularly for providing welcome packs with essentials like bread, milk, and eggs. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it is politely noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
A beautiful barn conversion tucked away in the village of Kingsley, sitting on the Staffordshire Moors, and reached by a country lane. Perfect for couples or friends, this retreat oozes charm and comfort, an all-round wonderful base to begin your holiday in style. The spacious kitchen/diner welcomes you inside, designed with a country cottage feel, oak units and exposed beams that offset the formation in a loving fashion. All the appliances you require are on-hand and a table for four people ensures you have somewhere to rest in the morning hours with a warm cup of tea. After a good start to the day, why not spend some time in the lounge? The cosy little snug room with a wall mounted electric fire and 2 x two-seater sofas is the ideal place for you to make the most of your downtime. Two bedrooms mirror each other; both accessed via their own staircase, adding a touch of character and quirkiness. Presented with double beds and overlooked by beams, you will look forward to relaxing after a long afternoon and admiring the fields which can be seen through the Velux windows. The walk-in shower room is a modern suite and makes a classic addition to the property. When the sun is shining, why not spend an hour or two in the garden, relaxing on the patio area and taking in the lovely scenery? Or explore the local area and beyond; the Staffordshire Way, a long distance walking route, runs through the village and there is a vast selection of walks for all abilities on the doorstep, plus there is an excellent golf course in Whiston. The Peak District National Park is easily accessed to the North; whist the Pottery towns of Stoke-on-Trent have a wide array of interesting museums to visit. The famous Alton Towers is also a short 8 mile drive away, a perfect day out for all ages. A home-away-from-home not to be missed.
