Sleeping up to four guests and their canine companion, this quirky bell tent enjoys a peaceful setting next to the owner’s farm, providing the perfect location for a rural retreat. Internally the pod features a living/dining space where you can kick back and relax beside the woodburning stove, pondering on the day’s events. Spend a moment outside within the garden area, getting the barbecue going and appreciating the tranquil setting. Back inside, there are two double beds from which you can lay to rest. Awaken from a leisurely slumber and head to the external shower room for a freshen up, before lacing up your walking boots and following the surrounding country paths and lakeside strolls right from the door. Annamay is a splendid escape to Worcestershire, all-year-round. Note: This property can be booked with Refs 1112904, 1113426 and 1130323, together they sleep sixteen guests.

A historic community with a pre-Norman settlement that has a post office, a village store, and numerous wonderful walks with the Worcestershire Way nearby. English Heritage owns Witley Court, an opulent 19th-century palace encircled by beautiful gardens and stunning fountains. The Hundred House Hotel, a Grade II listed Coaching Inn that has the name because it served as the location for collecting agricultural tithes from 100 districts, is located in the settlement as well. Take a stroll to the top of Woodbury Hill, where you can see the ruins of an Iron Age fort and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Malvern Hills that extend across the River Teme. The well-known village of Stourport-on-Severn, which has an abundance of cafes, shops, and lovely black and white timbered buildings, is nestled along the banks of the River Severn. One of the largest woodlands in the nation, the Wyre Forest spans the boundaries of Worcestershire and Shropshire. A substantial portion of it is identified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, while the remaining portion is listed as a Nature Reserve. Together with a network of fantastic walks and cycle routes, chances for pony trekking, and a discovery centre, the forest is home to a wide variety of animals, including wild woodland birds, moths, and adders. Bewdley, a charming market town nestled on the banks of the River Severn and once referred to as "the most ideal Georgian town in Worcestershire," is only a short drive away. It provides a good selection of services, including independent stores, antique and craft galleries. The spectacular Malvern Hills offer a 9-mile ridge of old rock, where you can find miles of bridleways that offer stunning, all-encompassing views. The Severn Valley Railway, West Midlands Safari Park, multiple National Trust buildings, riverfront festivals, regattas, and outdoor concerts are just a few of the region's top tourist attractions.

I say 'never' as the reception we had from the owner was so awful, we couldn't stay. We paid extra for our second dog (both dogs are small/medium, gentle breeds) but the owner began shouting at us the moment I took the dogs out of the car (they were both on leads and well behaved). It was dark and raining heavily, so we walked to the tent pursued by the owner shouting at us. 'Don't let the dogs on the bed!' 'This is my land and I it's not my fault it's raining!' And more. My son, who is working through some personal trauma (the main reason for the break) couldn't cope with the abuse and said that he couldn't stay, we agreed and left to find a Travelodge.
