Situated in Nidderdale, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Darley has won many Britain in Bloom awards for it colourful flowers and hanging baskets that are commonly seen in the village. A pub and the Darley Mill Centre, which has a restaurant and a shop selling everything from chocolates, sweets, garden items and cookware to clothes, bedding and cushions can be found in the village. The spa town of Harrogate is within driving distance, famous for its open spaces, architecture, lovely gardens and excellent shopping. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed nearby, plus the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks are within driving distance and are well worth a visit.

Helped by lovely weather too. Andrea, Howard and their son Sam were welcoming and very friendly. The lodge is conveniently situated between Harrogate and Skipton allowing easy access to numerous visitor centres and open countryside. Would stay there again.
