Basilâs barn was very comfortable, cosy and had lots of features left from its former life. Would highly recommend this accommodation and it is ideal for 2 people. Hosts, Ian and Ruth were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Grosmont 2 miles, Goathland 6 miles and Whitby 7 miles. 2 lovely pubs in the village. Ruth and Ian, the owners, live next door and were available if needed. Very friendly and helpful. It was nice to meet Billy the black labrador and Nancy the cat. They also had 3 sheep and 2 little ponyâs in the field at the rear of the cottage, which is part of a walking route. It was one of the best cottages weâve ever stayed in. Nigel and Cath
