No local convenience store but a pub selling decent food and an excellent butchers more than made up for that. Highly recommended.

It was absolutely ideal for a break with my two teenage daughters. The only reason I'd give a 4* and not 5 is that the location is good but not perfect. Views from the property aren't great and the lack of a local convenience store would be difficult for people without transport. Having said that, these are minor points and nothing that could be changed. Had a wonderful time and would recommend to a modern family for a break.

Clean and comfortable, plus a lovely welcome pack. Ideal location, not far out of Whitby. Perfect, away from the crowds.
