Lovely old cottage in the heart of Whitby. Well equipped and clean, owner was very helpful and responsive with a slight issue we had. Just be aware that the cottage is situated down an alley off a road with very limited parking. Overall we were very happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

A comfortable, charming, old cottage with a good central location ideal for the bus and railway stations, shops, restaurants and river walks. There are a few drawbacks such as the approach is not very attractive and the stairs are somewhat tricky for the very young and very old - a lot of care is needed. However it is warm, has a lot of original features, having two toilets is a definite bonus and there is a good view of Whitby Abbey from the bathroom.
