Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the cottage as spotlessly clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating a high standard maintained throughout the property.

The location is highly praised for being within walking distance to the market square, local shops, and restaurants, as well as being a great base for exploring the North Yorks Moors.

The cottage is repeatedly noted for its comfortable beds and warm atmosphere. However, a few guests mentioned a lack of storage space which slightly impacted their comfort.

Small pleasant sunny garden with seating for both relaxing and dining. Great location for shops, pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants and for walking.

Car parking. Small garden with furniture. Well appointed kitchen / dining room and sitting room plus downstairs WC. Good bathroom. Lots of towels supplied. Comfy beds and linen. Welcome bottle of processco and biscuits. Lots of toilet roll etc supplied. Not so great. Spent 2 hours looking for WiFi code as no instructions supplied ( nor for any appliance ) Sitting room would benefit from some lamps - currently it’s overhead lights on / off only. There are three bedrooms but only one drawer ( not set - a single one ) and one small wardrobe to service all guests plus a few hooks on wall. We had to live out of suitcases which isn’t what expect to have to do in a property listed as 5 *. Curtains only in one bedroom which meant the( lovely ) sunshine came through blinds and impeded sleep quality. All of the above would be easy to rectify.
