Dolphin Cottage is highly praised for its immaculate condition, stunning beachfront location, and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Guests consistently mention the comfort of the accommodation, the comprehensive facilities, and the delightful extras such as homemade shortbread. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention minor issues with furniture comfort and maintenance. The property is a favourite for its coastal views, with many guests planning return visits.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as immaculate and very clean, with only one review mentioning a minor issue with a rug, which does not significantly impact the overall high standard of cleanliness.
The location is frequently highlighted as beautiful and perfect for coastal walks, with direct beach access and proximity to local attractions. The view of sunsets and the possibility of seeing dolphins add to the appeal.
The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, mentioning cosy beds and a homely feel. However, one review cites uncomfortable furniture, suggesting some room for improvement in this area.
Facilities are generally well-received, with guests appreciating the well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and welcome gifts. Some concerns over furniture and a rug are noted, but these are exceptions in otherwise positive feedback.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing welcome gifts such as homemade shortbread and starter packs for the fire. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
