Perfect for a family of explorers or group of friends, this cottage boasts stunning views and a peaceful area home to wildlife including red squirrels and deer. On arrival at the cottage, off-road parking allows you to unload your bag with ease, before stepping into the home and starting your holiday. If you really just want a relaxed break, you can pack a picnic and make your way around all of your nearby Loch, including Loch Nant and Sior Loch, to take in the breath-taking landscapes. Connel is an Argyll and Bute settlement on Loch Etive's southern shore near Oban. Its Connel Bridge spans Loch Etive and the Falls of Lora. If you visit the Lora Falls at the correct time, you may even see a seal! Connel has a number of stores, taverns, and restaurants, including The Glue Pot, The Oyster Inn, and The Falls. Stock up on basics at Connel Village Store and Dunbeg Stores. Oban, a major shopping town in Connel, is nearby. Oban Distillery and the Scottish Sealife Sanctuary are also worth visiting.

The personal touches from the hosts made us feel immediately welcomed and the house was immaculate. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings watching the wildlife - deer, owl, barn swallows, woodpeckers. It's a lovely quiet spot at the end of the lane - perfect.
