Penelope is a well-regarded cottage in Benllech, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and prime location close to amenities and the beach. Guests appreciate the secure garden, especially those with dogs, and the property's quiet setting. While some guests missed having Wi-Fi and a washing machine, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Guests consistently note the cottage's immaculate condition, with particular praise for its cleanliness. The housekeeper, Sue, is commended for her responsiveness and the high standards maintained.
The cottage's location is highly valued for its proximity to shops, pubs, restaurants, and a sandy beach, all within walking distance. Its central position in Anglesey makes it an ideal base for exploring the island.
Many guests find the beds comfortable and the bungalow cosy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few guests mention the mattresses on the single beds being too firm, slightly affecting the comfort score.
The property is well-equipped, but several reviews mention the absence of Wi-Fi and a washing machine, which are important amenities for some guests. The garden's accessibility and maintenance are also noted as areas for improvement.
While guests express satisfaction with the property's offerings and the housekeeper's attentiveness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Lovely cottage. Thank you
Rachel
Problem with bedside lighting and loose toilet seat. Apart from that penelope is in an ideal location close to beach and facilities and a nice seaview from the back garden.

My only critisism would be, as a pet friendly property, my 2 year old boxer walked very gingerly on the gravel in the back garden. On checking I found it to be very course and sharp, and obviously not pleasant on her paws.
