  We were very disappointed with lack of initial response and resolution We had with a problem with the Toilet in the Upstairs En Suite - the Toilet did not fill up after flushing and consequently We could not use it - this was the only Toilet upstairs so We had to go downstairs to go to Loo in the night - obviously not ideal or acceptable We reported this on Saturday morning to Paul Mason from PJProperty Services - who said He would report to Jane the Owner No further contact was made to Us until Monday ( then 3 nights with no Upstairs toilet ) when Jane texted saying She would come Tuesday and have a look at it - however after We said that We would appreciate it being fixed because of inconvenience she came round Monday night and saw what the problem was - said would arrange for a plumber to call - Tuesday - however no further contact from Jane - Sykes called Tuesday evening asking if plumber could come Wednesday - We said We were going out for day and finally Thursday was suggested - We did not want last day of Our Holiday interrupted by workman - We were after all on Holiday and had to manage without Upstairs loo all week We have been Customers with Sykes for over 12 years and have not experienced any problems like this previously so were disappointed with remedial actions on this occasion

  This is an amazing property and probably the best we have ever stayed in.

  We spent many hours enjoying the wonderful view from both the lounge and dining room windows, over Red Wharf Bay towards the Menai Strait and the mountains of Snowdonia. The situation is very convenient, not only for local shops - there is a Spar just two minutes walk away, with very friendly, helpful staff - but also for visiting other parts of the Island. It is comfortably and comprehensively furnished, and absolutely spotless. The owner has thought of everything, even to providing torches on every bedside table and in the kitchen and, most amazing of all, pairs of good quality binoculars in the lounge, dining room and kitchen. We were amazingly lucky with the weather. Whilst our neighbours back home in Worcestershire were struggling with the cold and the rain, we had blue skies and warm sunshine on most days, and were able to make good use of the sun trap of a back garden with a G&T around 5.00 on several afternoons! We have no hesitation in recommending this property and, indeed, the beautiful Island of Anglesey, both of which we hope to return to in the future.

  We were looking for a house to accommodate 9 of us and came across this little gem.

  It really is like a home from home, perfectly equipped with everything you could want or need. We also brought our dog where the enclosed garden came in very handy. The house was incredibly clean and well maintained and it didn't feel like there was 9 of us in there as it was so spacious. The views to the front are spectacular too. The owners were very accommodating and informative, and kept in touch before and after to make sure our stay was a success. At first glance it looks like there's not much around but just venture to the bottom of the road and there's plenty of shops, takeaways and restaurants/pubs within walking distance. I'd definitely recommend the Beachcomber Restaurant which is just at the bottom of the road. Food is fantastic! The beach is only a 10 minute walk but it's a steep walk back so be mindful if you struggle walking up hill. There's car parking there if you need to take the car. In short, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and will hopefully be staying there again in the future ourselves.

  On entry we noticed the hall was full of sand and stones and had not been cleaned.

  The kitchen had food and hair on the floor and was dirty. (We mopped this clean and noticed the mop was bone dry and not been used) the floor was filthy. The front room floor and carpet was full of crumbs and hairs sand and had not been cleaned. The whole of the ground floor had not been cleaned. Upstairs was immaculate and cleaned throughout. There was a pair of Childrens underpants under the chair in the downstairs bedroom and sun cream bottle tops under the cabinet in the downstairs bathroom. There were stains on the sofa so we turned the cushion over to find half a bowl of rice crispys and a pound coin that went out of date 2 years ago!!! We didn’t want to complain at the time this would have upset the 92 year old who paid for the holiday. Overall the house is lovely and location and facilities were superb, just a shame for the amount it cost that the place wasn’t clean.

  This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in.

  Extremely high standards in the living accommodation and garden. Three generations of our family can live in this house comfortably. The owners have thought of everything. All cooking utensils and high quality pans are in the property making this a real home from home. They even leave beach chairs for you to use. The owners left us a fantastic welcome hamper which was really kind. The location of Benllech is also fabulous. Easy to get to all other areas of Anglesey and there is a great butchers and very helpful pharmacy in the village. Benllech is a very friendly place and the local pubs serve good food, too - although we prefer to stay at home in this house due to the amazing view from the dining room. Thanks to all concerned - we had a perfect holiday.
