Guests say

Guests have praised the cottage for its beautiful decoration, peaceful setting, and comfort, particularly noting the comfy beds and well-equipped kitchen. The property's location in Anglesey is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. Some minor maintenance issues were mentioned, but overall, the property is highly regarded for family gatherings and holidays.

The property is generally praised for its cleanliness, with guests noting good kitchen equipment that did not require pre-use washing. However, there were minor comments about chipped bowls and a cracked mug, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is consistently described as peaceful and beautiful, ideal for family gatherings and enjoying the surrounding area of Anglesey and North Wales.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Some guests noted issues with central heating and a desire for more pillows, indicating slight room for improvement.

Facilities are well-received with a few maintenance points raised, such as the need for clearer instructions for heating and dishwasher use, and minor issues like a leaking window and a fuel smell outside.

While guests appreciated touches like a Christmas tree and welcome biscuits and wine, there is not enough consistent mention of thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Make memories in Anglesey with 8 Llwyn Onn as your base.

The Anglesey community of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogoch, often known by its abbreviated form of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, is the longest place name in Europe. Locals refer to it as Llanfair PG. Its name, which translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel adjacent to the ferocious whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave," was made up in 1860 as a publicity ploy for the railroad station. Llanfair PG, which is located off the Britannia Bridge and close to the Menai Straits, has a lot to offer families. Take a picture next to the village nameplate at the railroad station, then visit the well-known visitors centre for information on nearby tourist attractions. You can reach the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column by taking a short detour beyond the octagonal Toll House in the direction of Menai Bridge.

We had a great holiday. The surrounding area is lovely with lush pasture fields and swallows flying around the house. We found plenty to do on Anglesey, and on the mainland. Thank you for the welcome biscuits and wine. About the property: We thought the long glass door to the courtyard could present a health hazard as there are no stickers on the glass to let people, or animals, know that glass is there. It was tempting to walk through it at times when it was shut. We ate most of our meals out so didn't try the oven and didn't have to heat the house, but as stated in the house information, the boiler (for hot water) could be noisy, and at times there was a fuel smell outside. I'm unsure how these things would affect those using the main bedroom. Some of us found the mattresses unsupportive, and the pillows inadequate, with only one pillow supplied per person that sunk low when weight was applied.

Excellent property and beautiful setting. We could have done with extra pillows and the window in the double bedroom leaks when it rained. Otherwise it was fabulous
