The town also plays host to a number of shops for picking up the essentials, as well as opportunities to delve into the area’s past by visiting the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum or during the summer months catch a RibRide boat trip down the Menai Strait to explore the charming Church Island. Nearby attractions include the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas', Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens and slightly further afield is the Snowdonia National Park with its great walking opportunities.
