Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. We have stayed in lots of house in the village over the years and this is by far the best. The views are simply stunning from all 3 floors and if we didnât have kids to entertain think we could have just spent the week on the balcony watching the ever changing scenery. The house was perfect for us as a family of 4. The decor and art work throughout is perfect for the setting. The beds were super comfy and having 3 bathrooms is ideal for returning from a long day at the beach. The kitchen has everything you need and even a posh coffee machine! Parking was fine - there is enough room to park outside for short periods to unload and pack. We used the free car park at the other side of the village which was only a 5 minute walk. Canât wait to return next year!
