Gorwel is a spacious and child-friendly property, highly praised for its cleanliness, ample space, and well-equipped facilities. The large garden and playroom are highlights, providing entertainment for children and peaceful areas for adults. Its location is ideal for exploring Anglesey and North Wales, with beaches nearby. Guests have enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations in this comfortable setting, with many expressing a desire to return.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as spotless and well-maintained. One review mentioned a cleanliness issue, but this appears to be an isolated incident in the context of otherwise excellent feedback.
The location is frequently commended for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and facilities. It is described as an ideal base for touring Anglesey and North Wales. However, one review mentioned parking fines at a nearby car park, suggesting the need for clearer visitor information.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a variety of living spaces. There is a single mention of a cold master bedroom, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.
The facilities, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and playroom, are generally praised. However, some maintenance issues such as a non-working oven, a tripping toaster, and a leaky bath were reported. These incidents suggest room for improvement in maintenance.
While many reviews express gratitude and appreciation for the property and their stay, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be given for this category.

Well equipped kitchen. Loved the large dinning table that allowed the whole family to eat together. The seating areas outside with view towards Llandudno with morning cup of tea was fabulous. The children absolutely loved the large garden space to run around & play. The childrenâs playroom was a real blessing to occupy the early risers! We did have problems with two showers but appreciated the quick response from Sykes holidays & the owners. The Sandy beach with cafe just 5mins drive was great for a family beach day & the coastal walk round to Anneâs pantry all highly recommended. Even the sun shone, thank you.

!! What a gem she found!! As a family of 8 ages 75 down to 5 it was PERFECT. The house itself was more than we could of asked for. Everyroom decorated to high standards, bathrooms (all 4) stunning. Not once did we feel on top of eachother plenty of different spaces to grab 5 mins to yourself if needed. The gardens and outdoor space were amazing, with 3 lively boys and the dog these were used daily. As someone mentioned non matching crockery we loved this as it made dishing up meals easier knowing who was having each plate! Perfect for exploring the island and secluded. Only downside was leaving! A personal message to owners is after a stressful 24hrs prior to arrival is your property made us forget all about it as soon as we walked through the front door it was like walking into a hug and we will all be coming back (for longer) sometime next year as so much more to see. Thankyou for the great memories made.
