This renovated stone barn has been completed to a high standard, making a lovely holiday cottage to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The space in the cottage has been so well thought out with a gorgeous open planned living area, comfortable cosy bedrooms and outdoor elevated seating, perfect for dining al fresco.
On the ground floor you have a lovely opened planned living area which is an ideal spot to all get together and relax after a busy day exploring. The kitchen is so spacious and has everything that you could need including an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
There is a dining and seating area with log burning stove and flat screen TV.
There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with en-suite bathroom with bath, shower overhead, loo and hand basin.
Two further bedrooms are located upstairs, one double with a king size bed and a twin room.
There is a bathroom with a large shower enclosure, loo and hand basin.
The ground floor leads out to an elevated seating area with exterior furniture and beautiful views.
Mulberry Cottage is in a perfect location for exploring Anglesey. You are just a stone’s throw from the variety of shops and eateries of Menai Bridge, or the popular sandy beach at Red Wharf Bay. However, if you did just want to put your feet up and relax you couldn’t ask more of this stunning and peaceful location.

Pentraeth is a small attractive village on the banks of the River Nodwydd on the north-east coast of Anglesey. It has a village church that dates back to the 12th century and is located between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which has over 4.5 miles of sandy beach. Red Wharf Bay’s Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and provides safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 6 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. This is a great location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, yet only six minutes from the Britannia Bridge to access the mainland.

Bonny and Rupert went out their way to make our stay over the Christmas holidays really special with delightful little touches, such as a lovingly decorated tree, some simple decorations and a fully dressed table with a selection of mince pies. Fully open to allowing us to extend our stay, as hosts they are completely hands off and just left us to our own devices. We would certainly consider staying again in the future.

Only one minor wrinkle for us, travelling with our Springer Spaniel, is that the garden area is not fully enclosed.

Everything you could need is provided, spotlessly clean, sofa and beds very comfortable, great heating and so lovely to light the fire for cosy evenings. The location was perfect for both walks and travelling to other areas and so quiet. The owners are just next door and give a great welcome but are not intrusive. Highly recommend
