This stylish apartment is on the spectacular Gower Peninsula, and many of its rooms boast magnificent rural views. Sleeping six guests, the holiday home suits large families and groups of friends looking for a relaxing break in this picturesque corner of Wales. The iconic Rhossili Bay is just 4 miles away, and you’ll also have easy access to the dramatic Wales Coast Path. After a day of outdoor adventure, enjoy a gentle stroll around the shared grounds or a dip in the swimming pool.
The first-floor apartment is reached via a flight of stairs. Inside, the contemporary decor is clean and crisp, and hues of blue in the soft furnishings offer a little nod to the coastal setting. At the heart of the home is a bright lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can spend time sharing delicious feasts around the table or enjoying a movie night on the Smart TV. Alternatively, take yourself off to the cosy snug with your favourite book. The property has three elegant bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Completing the stylish holiday retreat is a family shower room. Outside, guests are invited to explore the shared grounds and use the swimming pool.
The Gower Peninsula is awash with varied walking routes, from remote moorland hikes to tranquil strolls along the beach. For breathtaking views and a chance to experience a slice of history, why not take on the climb to King Arthur’s Stone (4 miles)? The challenging route takes you along the ridge of Cefn Bryn to one of the most impressive Neolithic burial chambers in the country. Gower is home to Wales’s most iconic beaches, including Rhossili Bay and Three Cliffs Bay, both of which are within 10 miles. The family favourites of Port Eynon and Horton are also nearby (2 miles).

Lovely apartment, very clean and nicely furnished. Two TV areas which were welcome with teenage grandchildren. Close to the beach and surrounding beaches of Rhosilli and Oxwich Bay. Nice addition with the pool and garden area, plenty of sun loungers and seating in the garden.

My friends and I stayed at the gower suite over the weekend. We had an AMAZING weekend getaway! The suite was spotless and finished to a high spec as per the pictures. The beds were comfy, the outdoor heated pool was top-notch and the general setup great. The location was perfect, a little walk to the local social hub with a bar / pub / food / band / evening social which was good for us lot in our mid 20s. The suite manager and the owner were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thanks. We will definitely be back and can't recommend this place highly enough to anyone.

Firstly this cottage is not adequate for 6 people, we were cramped with just 4 adults. Access is by a steep and narrow staircase which the less mobile will find a challenge. The rooms are very small and poorly planned, the kitchen is so narrow when one person is washing dishes ( no dishwasher) the person drying has to stand behind and then kitchen cabinets cannot be opened. There is a general lack of space in the kitchen with no wall units supplied for food storage. Kitchen equipment is limited to exactly 6 of each meaning no serving plates if used to eat off. Only 3 white wine glasses, 3 red wine glasses and 6 tumblers. No sparkling wine flutes, short glasses and not even a corkscrew. There are only 4 dining chairs round table and not enough space for more meaning 6 people will need to eat in shifts. The seating is for 4 in each of two rooms so again 6 could not associate in one room at the same time.the arrangement of the seating also means the TVs cannot be watched by all in any sort of comfort. The general furniture was sparse with no curtains or blinds in either lounge. Beds were made up with heavyweight winter duvets and should be replaced with a lighter version for the summer season. The general bathroom sink is no more than a very small hand rinse measuring approx 6 inches by 12 inches and only an inch deep. It is near impossible to comfortably wet shave in this sink, even washing hands is a chore. Both showers were so slow to drain the water was lapping the top of the shower trays. One of our party actually removed the drain cover to clear the waste pipe to be faced with a foul smelling mass of hair and gunge, clearly these showers have never been serviced in the life of the building. In conclusion the property is not suitable for 6, is definitely under equipped and has been ill thought out with the customer in mind. Considering the cost of the property it is extremely poor value and cannot be recommended.
