The town of Llandudno rests between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, and it is these headlands, as well as the town's two waterfronts, that give it its unique attractiveness. The North Shore, with its large promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels, and the quieter West Shore, with miles of sandy beachfront backed by sand dunes and wonderful views towards Anglesey, are the town's two excellent beaches. However, for the greatest views, take the Great Orme Tramway or a mile-long cable car journey to the peak of the 679ft Great Orme. The town has a diverse range of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, North Wales' leading theatre stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and touring orchestras, with a diverse schedule - all within walking distance of the promenade. The town of Conwy, a recognised World Heritage Site, is about 4 miles distant. Conwy is a remarkable mediaeval gem, dominated by a magnificent castle and totally encircled by well-preserved town walls. There's lots to see and do along the North Wales coast, including miles of sandy beaches and superb walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park, which is only 20 minutes away.

Clean, modern decor, large kitchen which is well equipped with everything you need for self catering. Lovely bedroom, clean, bed linen, smelt lovely and fresh. Every room: living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, was quite spacious for a one bedroom property. We were pleasantly surprised on walking in that every room was separate and not as the usual one bedroom properties we have stayed at before with the kitchen in an open plan style together with the living room/dining room. The only thing we found awkward was that we had to park on the road off the Gardens, but that was mainly because we didnât arrive until after 5pm and all the parking spaces were full. But, it wasnât a problem, we parked outside to unload and then parked the car on the road and on the day of our departure we did the same, parked the car outside while we loaded. Would definitely recommend. The property is in a small pretty road at the back of the tram station and we found it peaceful and quiet. Near to the pier, and a short walk to restaurants, shops. Would definitely like to go back, canât wait to return.

This is the best place we have stayed in on our many visits to Llandudno
