If the weather is nice, why not fire up the barbecue on the wraparound balcony and dine alfresco with breath-taking views out towards Conwy and Deganwy Marina. After dinner, relax in the sitting room and select a much-loved film from the TV as the evening’s entertainment. When sleep calls, choose from two further bedrooms, a king-size with TV and walk-in wardrobe / dresser and a double bedroom, both with plenty of storage for your belongings and lovely views. In the morning, wake-up tired eyes with an indulgent soak in the beautiful freestanding bath or a refreshing walk in shower before heading out to explore. Wander into the local town, where you can beachcomb the long, sandy and shingle Deganwy Beach, also well-known for its great watersports opportunities on the River Conwy, visit the fascinating remains of the 13th-century Deganwy Castle, stroll along the Deganwy Promenade with an ice cream in hand or tuck-in to fresh fish and chips from the popular Harbour View Chip Shop & Café. Within the town, you will also find the welcoming eateries of Nikki Ips Restaurant Wine Bar & Café, Paysanne, and Castle View, just across the road, perfect for those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking. Cross the National Trust Suspension Bridge over to the historic town of Conwy, where you can tour the Cadw Heritage site of the 13th-century Conwy Castle, soak up the views from the historic town walls, visit the historic home of Plas Mawr or the charming 16th-century cottage known as The Smallest House In Great Britain at only 1.8 metres wide! You can also test out your swing at the excellent Conwy Caernarvonshire Golf Club, spend a day bathing or paddle the shores of Conwy Morfa Beach or spotting the local wildlife at the Pensychnant Conservation Centre. Continue onto Llandudno, home to two beautiful beaches, the Great Orme Summit, Venue Cymru and Angel Bay where you can spot the resident grey seals bathing on the rocks. All this and more awaits at The Old Tywyn Post Office.

Tourists flock to Deganwy, a little village situated on the banks of the Conwy River at the mouth of the Estuary. To top it all off, the town of Deganwy still has the remnants of its once-proud castle that was built in 1082 but later torn down. From sea fishing to hiking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to exploring the castles, mines, beaches, and gardens along this stunning stretch of the North Wales Coast, this area has something for everyone. It is only a few miles away from the popular tourist destinations of Conwy and Llandudno, which feature a mediaeval castle, town walls, and a marina. The architecture and the magnificent promenade in Llandudno show how popular the town was during the Victorian era. Additionally, the town boasts an amusement pier, a theatre, and a dry ski slope for the more daring. Deganwy, Llandudno, and Conwy are just a few of the many attractions in this region.

We loved our stay here with the view of the Bay and the trains passing regularly which kept the little ones entertained but didn't interrupt us with noise. There's a Co-op 30 seconds up the road which is perfect for those little bits and pieces you need when away and it's only 5 minutes from Conwy and 10 minutes (if that) from Llandudno. We love this spot and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We put the correct key code number in but we couldn't open the key safe. We knew we was doing it correctly as we have used many key safes. We rang the first number on our email..no reply. Rang second number and a man answered saying he would come down to us. He didn't seen very happy and spoke to us in a condescending way "you are the first people who can't open the key safe. It turns out he was the second because he couldn't open it either. He went off to get us a key. When he returned he said he would be back to mend it. He never returned and never got in touch to apologize. Subsequently our restricted holiday began. Without a key safe everyone had to go where the key goes. There were 6 adults, we couldn't split us and go where you wanted without a key safe. This was no the only restriction. The TV needs a code to watch certain programs or recordings but unfortunately you can not have it because people will download movies. The heating needs a code, our heating came on at 3 am. The side gate needs a code because people might go in the garden.im not sure that this might be a fire hazzard for guest. If you are in downstairs bedroom there are no wardrobe to hang your clothes. We lived with the TV and heating restrictions and side gate restrictions. But promising to mend the key safe an not getting in touch with us is a big NO. On a positive note the house is a very spacious lovely house, very modern and in a beautiful location.

With beautiful sea views, the kids loved watching the passing boats and trains. Lovely sitting areas, modern kitchen. We'd love to come here again.
