Bryn Nophfa is a quaint, mid-terrace cottage located in the village of Flint Mountain, Flintshire. With two bedrooms sleeping up to three people, Bryn Nophfa is an ideal getaway for small families or couples. The cottage sits in the centre of three beautiful, stonewall cottages in a quiet spot just off the main street. Inside you will find a kitchen/diner, seating three to four guests and equipped with the essential appliances, perfect for cooking up a storm, including a separate utility with washer and dryer. After a long day exploring the local area, you can relax in the sitting room, light the woodburning stove and watch a film on the Smart TV. Taking the winding, wooden staircase to the first floor leads you to the family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, where you can freshen up and prepare for your day. The first bedroom is a single room overlooking the garden, while the second is a king-size bedroom boasting plenty of shelving and wardrobe space; keeping with the classic cottage architecture, both rooms have low doors and windows. Bryn Nophfa also boasts an incredible multi level garden space, with stone steps leading up to a peaceful decking area to enjoy your breakfast or evening meal. Follow the steps a bit further and you’ll find a lovely orchard overlooking the cottages and treetops. Flint Mountain is a small village in Flintshire, North Wales, with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep and the cottage is just a short walk away from local shops, pubs and restaurants. The town of Flint is just a short drive away, lying on the estuary of the River Dee, which is well worth a visit for Flint Castle. Follow the coastal path for a refreshing walk overlooking The Wirral and an impressive industrial skyline. For a more lively day out, Chester is a nearby city which is home to an abundance of restaurants, pubs and shops. Explore the Roman ruins, visit the beautiful cathedral, and follow the city walls for amazing views of the canal and ancient architecture. Further afield, enjoy a day in Liverpool, home to two impressive cathedrals towering over the city skyline, as well as the historical Victorian docks. Bryn Nophfa is the perfect base for nature-lovers and city-dwellers to explore North Wales and Cheshire.

There were about 4 logs and no kindling, no toilet roll? and a dangerous panel pin stuck in the post at the top of the stairs waiting to rip a hand. There is no shop as indicated in the info, just a garage about a mile down the road. The surroundings are derelict and sordid. No never again, we came home early

The owner was very accommodating and the neighbours were very friendly. The cottage has a lovely garden and terrace where we enjoyed the warm weather, but we also enjoyed the homely log burner when the weather turned colder. Flint mountain is a good location for exploring locally and further a field and we would recommend the dog friendly pub that is within walking distance (The Coach & Horses). All in all, it was a lovely place to stay :)
