Garth Morthin The Farmhouse is highly praised for its stunning views, spaciousness, and warmth. Guests appreciate its proximity to beaches and local amenities, while enjoying the peaceful rural setting. The conservatory is a highlight, offering panoramic views and a cosy atmosphere with a log burner. The property's character and modern conveniences blend to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it well-cleaned upon arrival. However, a few guests noted the presence of cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
The location is consistently lauded for its stunning views, privacy, and convenience to both the beach and local towns. It serves as an excellent base for exploring North Wales, with many facilities and services nearby.
Guests find the farmhouse comfortable, with special mentions of the underfloor heating and cosy conservatory. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds contribute to a relaxing stay, though some guests mentioned creaky floorboards and a high double bed as minor discomforts.
The property is well-equipped with a games room, ample parking, and a well-stocked kitchen. However, some guests experienced issues with heating controls, a dark upstairs bathroom, and the need for better garden fencing for pets. These points indicate that while facilities are good, there is room for maintenance and upgrades.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches left by the hosts in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

A few minor points, one of the settees in the lounge area was worn through needing repair or replacement, there was also a hole in one of the bath towels. We found the heating controls difficult to use, and had no heating for the last two days, no problem with hot water. Many cobwebs so a little more attention to cleaning detail required. We had a great holiday and were very lucky with the weather. Lovely place to stay.

The Farm House is very comfortable and welcoming. We loved sitting in the amazing conservatory just taking in the lovely view, maybe just partaking of a glass or two after a lovely day out, just watching the sheep and a few cattle in the adjoining fields. Black Rock sands were Bertie's (our cockapoo) favourite also Criccieth, and Barmouth beaches, all within a short driving distance. The beds, duvets and pillows were so comfortable and warm. The only comment was it would have been safer if the fence around the garden extended all the way round the property with having a very inquisitive dog, as the road was very close, and the traffic fast. We certainly hope to return.

The house is great, the views are beautiful. The only one thing that needs updating is the sofa bed, not a great mattress but other than that itâs an amazing holiday. Will be booking again.
